Antalya, Turkey
Antalya is Turkey’s biggest international sea resort. The popular Mediterranean destination is very safe, has high-quality service, delicious food, great nature, and deep-rooted history. It offers a wide range of tourism activities with the same first-class amenities as destinations like Greece and Spain, but with much more affordable prices (thanks in large part to a favorable exchange rate). Plus, Turkey offers most foreign nationals visa free travel, versus prohibitive visa restrictions for East European, African and Asian girls who want to travel to similar EU destinations.
The weather in Antalya is not very extreme, though summers do get quite hot and the winters can sometimes witness temperatures as low as 0°C (32°F) at night. Therefore, the ideal time to visit Antalya is mid-March to mid-June (spring) and September-October (fall). During the spring and fall seasons, the temperatures are pleasant throughout the day and there is still plenty of sunshine. You’ll avoid the cool and sometimes rainy winter period, as well as the scorching summer months that bring an influx of tourists, higher prices and crowded beaches.
Antalya is serviced by Antalya Airport (AYT), which includes two international terminals and one domestic terminal. End result – more direct and affordable routes from Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. In fact, the total number of international passengers traveling through AYT has surpassed the total number at Istanbul’s two major airports – Istanbul Airport (IST) and Sabiha Gökçen International Airport (SAW) – officially earning Antalya the reputation as the capital of Turkish tourism.
